On Thursday 6th April 2017 SCOBA get together for their annual dinner at the Bet 365 Stadium. This years event will be a tribute night to THE BOYS OF 72. 45 years on from the clubs only major trophy the team will again turn out to celebrate and remember that day against the favourites on the day Chelsea.
We are hoping that all the surviving members of the team and squad will be in attendance but definitely attending are Gordon Banks, George Eastham, Terry Conroy, Jimmy Greenhoff, Jackie Marsh, Denis Smith, Mike Pejic, Mike Bernard, Harry Burrows and Eric Skeels. This will be a great opportunity to hear the thoughts of the players 45 years later. The team have already re taken the parade around the City and been honoured by the Stoke Council so this is your chance to pay your tributes.
Tickets are priced at £30 pp or £300 for a table of ten. The evening will have food consisting of pie, peas, chips and gravy, interviews by Terry Conroy of all players attending and in true scoba tradition we have a fine comedian Ian Sludge Lees to round off the night. In between we have a raffle with some great prizes and our usual auction of SCFC memorabilia both old and new.
